Mitcham Girls High School offers a wealth of opportunities for all its community members. Would you like to get involved in the future planning for the school? We extend an invitation to join us as a parent representative on the Governing Council.
As a member of the Governing Council, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in discussions about various aspects of the school, including improvement plans, finances, physical resources, ICT, the Canteen, and Uniform. It’s an excellent chance to have your voice heard and be part of conversations that directly impact your student’s high school experience.
The MGHS Governing Council operates in compliance with relevant legislation and an established constitution. Its role is to provide advice to school leaders, ensuring good governance. The council serves as a platform for parental and community involvement, addressing local policies, strategic planning, and emphasising the importance of educational, cultural, and social diversity within our community.
